Chula Vista burglary suspect fatally shot by guard was a paroled gang member
Tuesday as an ex-convict and documented gang member. Alex Somphonh Choulamontry, 23, had convictions for theft, possession of drugs, drunk driving and falsely identifying himself to a police officer. He was on parole, Chula Vista police said.
