I’m confused. I’ve been reading a lot here of people worrying about getting in trouble for small amounts of marijuana and pariphanelia. In my town here a trooper or sheriff would more or less throw those amounts on the ground than do the paperwork. I live in a small hick town in the northeast. I have told the troopers that I could care less if people smoke pot and they even agreed with me and said they don’t really bother unless it’s a major dealer selling to kids. They have come to my door to ask my son questions regarding an issue he was a witness to with smoke billowing out of his bedroom window and they never even blinked an eye about it. Asked my son the questions they came to ask and then left. I’m just wondering if we have more leniency here. They have caught my older son many times and just thrown it on the ground and ticketed him for something else like a traffic violation. Very confused.
