Far Cry 4’s elephants vs. a Final Fantasy 15 summon – 2015's Best Moment needs a Golden Joystick Award

September 4, 2015   ·   0 Comments

Voting for the 2015 Golden Joysticks – the first and only gaming honors chosen by players like you – is officially open, and time to vote is ticking away fast. With dozens of games represented in 21 different categories, you won’t want to miss out on your chance to have your voice heard, especially not when it comes to choosing The Best Gaming Moment of 2015.

The best games stick with you long after you put down the controller, but sometimes it isn’t the whole game you remember. It’s a single moment that buries itself in your head and refuses to leave. This year saw a trove of unforgettable moments, from riding an elephant in Far Cry 4, to surviving a death derby in Tales from the Borderlands, to stomaching the bloody baron quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. I, personally, pick summoning Ramuh in the Final Fantasy XV demo – I refuse to believe I’m the only person who jumped out of their chair and fist-pumped to exhaustion – but it’s not up to me. It’s up to you to decide which game will get it’s moment in the sun, but only if you head on over and cast your vote before the window closes.
