overwatering, droopy leaves
I am at week 5.
at the middle of week 3 I have decided to flush my plant’s since I’ve had a problem with over nute’ing whom ever remembers my recent post.
and upon my plant’s thriving ever since I did not water them, only foliar sprayed them twice-three times a day, not too much, just enough to let them know i care.
the ground did not dry up since ~ week 4 up to the middle of week 5 and I’m a bit worried. since they were looking pretty sharp I decided to water them a little bit with a touch of some nute’s to increase their vitality, since they seemed like all was going oh too well.. two-three days from that stupid action I’m posting about my droopy leaves, on one of them, the one which had the most beautiful fan leaves, the biggest and at the biggest amount, his leaves looks like small green towels left on the ropes to hang dry, and basicly all the rest of my plant’s are looking pretty droopy, I checked the internet for some photos and I can tell that it’s the symptoms of over watering.
I checked the soil and it is a little strange, close enough to the stem the soil is dry as an old woman’s… but 2 inch deep the soil is very damp.
when they were younger (before I have flushed them) they used to suck every drop of water from the soil before I would water them.
now they got me thinking that I should have waited a bit longer before watering, and now I’m clueless as to weather the gang has got a shot to re-enter the game.
I always have an oscilating fan on the plants, I lowered the lamp and switched them back from 12-12 (for the last two days) back up to 24…
I just figgured out on my own that trying to flower them in this situation is like trying to get an injured athelit to run a marathon.
I just want to make it clear that they don’t look dead at all, the new leaves are looking pretty well and the new branches that are coming out of the main stem have some nice small packs of new leaves to help with the war effort. of photosintessis.
now i was thinking – what should I do with my plants? was that a good judgement call to bring them back to vegg? should I repot? change the soil? cut the soaken leaves off?
and how much time do you think it could be before the plant rejuvenates?
Thanks a lot in advance,
