October 7, 2010   ·   0 Comments

Despite eleven new releases crashing into the Media Create top 20 sales chart (via 4Gamer.net), Pokemon Black & White still managed to claim the number one position for the third week in a row. 374,859 copies were sold between September 27th and October 3rd, putting its sixteen-day total at 3,761,217 units.

Capcom’s two major new releases had respectable debuts. Okamiden, the DS sequel to the acclaimed Okami, came in third with 84,472 copies sold. The two versions of Dead Rising 2 sold over 120,00 copies combined, nearly double what the original sold in its first week, but individually they finished fifth and sixth (79,695 on PS3, 43,800 on Xbox 360) respectively.
