Twisted Metal PS3 Release Date Set for October
The release date of the new Twisted Metal game for PlayStation 3 has been announced: It’ll be out on October 4.
Last night’s episode of GameTrailers TV revealed the date (see the video here), and director David Jaffe reinforced the date in the video above for PlayStation Blog (where he also talks about how nobody knows what CB radios are anymore). Developer Eat Sleep Play will be demoing the game to the press soon, including the first time anyone will be able to try out the brand-new NUKE mode. Battlewagon will also be shown, which Jaffe describes as “the coolest, baddest-ass vehicle” and one that he has wanted to get into a game since the original Twisted Metal in 1995.
An extended launch trailer for the game is coming in the near future showing a bit of Calypso, as well as some of the storylines for Sweet Tooth, Dollface, and Mr. Grimm. Expect plenty of new information and impressions of the game to hit the web soon.
